🚉 June 2025 Special Trains

To manage summer rush and festival travel, Indian Railways has rolled out a series of special trains this month. Some notable routes include:

🚆 Anand Vihar Terminal – Jaynagar / Rajgir / Sitamarhi
🚆 CSMT Mumbai – Kanyakumari / Nagpur / Bengaluru
🚆 Hyderabad – Cuttack / Kollam
🚆 Indore – Hazrat Nizamuddin
🚆 Jammu Tawi – New Delhi / Varanasi
🚆 Kacheguda – Madurai / Nagercoil

These trains are designed to ease congestion and ensure smoother travel during peak demand.


🏆 Indian Railways: Recent Achievements

Electrification Milestone
As of 2025, 94% of the broad gauge network is electrified, with over 40,000 km completed in the last decade.

Record Freight & Revenue
In FY 2023–24, Indian Railways achieved an all-time high freight loading of 1,588 million tonnes and total receipts of ₹2.56 lakh crore.

Safety First
Consequential train accidents have dropped from an average of 171 per year (2004–14) to just 68 per year (2014–24), thanks to initiatives like Kavach, electronic interlocking, and intrusion detection systems.

Infrastructure Boom
Over 31,000 km of new tracks have been commissioned in the past decade, with daily track laying now averaging 14.5 km/day.
